The Canal Boat "Koralle" is not wheelchair accessible. However, there is space to stow wheelchairs or walking aids. To access the boat, you have to walk a few steps and take a small step down to the canal boat.

Otherwise, our Dream Ship "Warsteiner Admiral" and the Saloon Ship "Hafenmusik" offer barrier-free access. The ships are accessible via a gangway and have appropriate sanitary facilities. Further information on our other cruises can be found here.

By car: Take the highway exits A31 or A28 to Leer. Follow the signs to the city center/harbor.

By train: Leer train station. From there it is about a 10-minute walk to the pier. Follow the signs to the harbor (pier directly next to the Dr.-vom-Bruch Bridge)

Discover the habor of Leer from a different perspective

Our one-hour harbor tour with the canal boat “Koralle” offers you a relaxed and informative journey through Leer’s commercial and industrial harbor. During the tour, our captain will explain the role of the port for leisure, industry and trade. You will learn all about the local businesses and ships while enjoying the picturesque harbor landscape. The captain will keep you entertained with humorous and interesting explanations as well as plenty of döntjes and sailor’s yarns.

The trip begins in the leisure harbor, past the historic steamship “Prinz Heinrich” and a beautiful backdrop of modern harbor buildings and traditional old town. Passing under the Nessebrücke bridge, you have a view of the beginnings of the pedestrian zone.

The route continues through the almost 100-year-old Dr.-vom-Bruch-Brücke bridge past the commercial port, where impressive museum ships and historic buildings are a real highlight. Here you can take a look at the beautiful houses and gardens, which can only be seen from the water. Finally, you will pass the lock and reach the industrial port, where the captain will provide you with interesting information about the local shipyards, quays and industrial facilities.

The canal boat “Koralle” sails from April to October – regardless of whether it is Whitsun, Easter, Ascension Day or Mother’s Day. All dates and times can be found in our booking calendar.
